Chronicle of Events

 

1985 HFEC was established jointly by Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Company (BPEC), a former Sinopec company, and Fluor Daniel, the world renowned American engineering company.
1986 HFEC acquired Grade A Engineering Design License issued by the Ministry of Construction for oil refining, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.
2005 HFEC was taken over by Shenwu Group.
2006 HFEC was awarded a high-tech enterprise certificate by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission.
2007 HFEC was awarded a Grade A Engineering Consultation License by National Development and Reform Commission for petrochemical industry.
2007 HFEC was awarded an EPC contract of Guizhou Tongzi Coal Chemical Project for phase-1 urea package, utility package and waste water treatment package. HFEC expended its business from engineering to EPC contracting.
2008 HFEC and China University of Petroleum jointly established Petrochemical Engineering Research Institute, and set up scholarships.
2008 HFEC obtained A1, A2, A3 Design License of Special Equipment of Pressure Vessel and Design License of Pressure Pipeline issued by State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
2008 HFEC was authorized a Permission of Foreign EPC Contracting by Ministry of Commerce.
2009 HFEC signed an engineering contract for Tenglong 4,500,000 TPY Aromatic Project, a top class PTA plant in the world.
2011 HFEC is listed as a prior nurtured enterprise for “Shibaiqian Project” of Zhongguancun Independent Innovation Demonstration Park.
2012 HFEC signed a contract with Wulan Coal Group for Chemical Fertilizer Project with production of 1,350,000 TPY ammonia and 2,400,000 TPY urea in a total contract value of 5.8 billion RMB, being the largest urea unit applying Saipem’s process in the world.
2013 HFEC is rated as AA credit grade client by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
2014 HFEC is rated as AA+ credit grade client by China Minsheng Banking Corp. Ltd.
2014 HFEC is rated as AAA credit grade enterprise by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products.
